Did you find out how much having a pet would cost each year?

February102020

Tell me, Sherlock, was your investigation a success? Did you find out how much having a pet would cost each year?

a. $100 or less

b. Between $100 and $500

c. Between $600 and $1,000

d. Between $1,100 and $1,500*

The correct answer is D! Seem like a lot? Think about it: you need to cover food, bowls, a leash, a litter box, grooming, vaccines, vet visits and even a pet licence! Yikes - that adds up fast!

And the older your companion gets, the more you pay. Dental care, blood tests and other health expenses all bring up the price.

It goes without saying that if you want to add a new furry (or feathery!) member to your family, you have to start saving early, even if it's just one penny at a time.
